This June long weekend 2nd June 2012, in recognition of the Queen's birthday and the Diamond Jubilee year, a celebration of all things British will be themed throughout Dirty Jane's Antique Market, Bowral NSW.  Be sure to check out all the beautiful stalls if you are in the area.  Opening hours 10am to 5pm, 7 days.

Charlie Foxtrot the stall next to mine specialises in the 1940's era and has embraced the theme.

Old Kitchen Dresser Makeover

I bought this old kitchen dresser at Dirty Jane's bush auction on Sunday for $50. We decided to give it a retro look. My husband high-pressure blasted it, sanded, filled, undercoated and painted it.
We used Taubman's Blue Cascade and Presden Lass (pink). Definitely worth all the hard work!
